Darcy Gilmore is an Emmy-nominated Makeup Artist, IATSE Department Head of multiple television series and ambassador for some of the most iconic brands in beauty. Her long-standing professional relationship with Mark Burnett has allowed her to act as the Department Head for 11 Seasons of NBC's The Voice (Adam Levine's personal groomer) as well as ABC's Sharktank (personal groomer for Mark Cuban).
Since 2011, Darcy has supervised nearly every music video, press event, editorial shoot, tour (both US and International), television and movie appearance for Adam Levine and Maroon 5. Prior to working with the band, she was the personal makeup artist and hair stylist for Arianna Huffington from 1995 through 2005 and during the successful launch of The Huffington Post.
With a list too long to acknowledge, she is proud to have worked with so many industry mentors and female clients including Suze Orman, Lisa Ling, Willow Bay and Hannah Storm just to name a few. She also has a great working relationship with actress Nicole Kidman, with whom she has worked several red carpet events and also the documentary, HBO: In Vogue.
Darcy’s unique skill set, elegant trademark style and masterful understanding of the makeup and grooming required for HD television has led her to brand partnerships, masterclass speaking opportunities and retail launches with MAC Cosmetics (teaching HD and 4k makeup application), Makeup Forever, YSL Beauty, La Prairie Skincare, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and Merle Norman Cosmetics. In fact, Darcy had the honor of being chosen as one of 30 international makeup artists to create a signature eyeshadow for Makeup Forever’s 30/30 Collection, which immediately sold out at Sephora stores.
